I try to visit Cyprus once in two years. Usually we stay at apartments there, but this summer we decided to rent a villa. There are thousands cyprus villas and the most expensive are in the center. We found a great one far from the center crowd, but in this case, we strongly needed a car. There are no troubles with car rent, but on the road. As there are no radars, many coming tourists speed up to 150-200 km. This is really a problem, as the Cypriots are not acquainted with it. The standard speed is 100-80 km and when they see someone rushing on roads, they try to do all possible to diminish the tourists' flow. However, such speeds one may see just on great ways; close to the town, there is always a traffic jam, as Cypriots go to have a rest out of town. It is also enough difficult to find your car on parking. Most of them resemble and you trying just to remember some peculiarities or what you have left inside of it. For those, who come first on Cyprus, there is a problem with guiding line. You may find the right road, but to find your villa seems impossible. All of them have the same standards, colors, size and you once again just guess the nearest differences. The only pleasant thing is that you remember everything from the second day. The following days are just for the rest. |
